When I was meditating on what I wanted to share with the Graceful Care blog community the word “live” came to me. So often as caregivers, professionals and leaders in our respected spaces the tendency to live is forgotten. As a result of the hustle and bustle of daily responsibilities personally and professionally we can easily begin to feel the heaviness of not living. The heaviness of life can be sudden, or over a period of time due to life experiences.
Personally I have felt the heaviness of life and daily I speak with caregivers who feel the weight of the world is going to overtake him or her physically, mentally and financially. After talking with a dear friend she asked me the simple question of when was the last time you celebrated the moment you are in ?
I had to pause for a moment and think and ask myself when was the last time I celebrated me?
In that moment I realized even more how precious life is and how important it is to live.
In today’s society everything is moving so rapidly with the inability to stop the hands of time. Changes are happening with our families, work environment and the needs of individuals surrounding us. I am sharing this to say it is imperative to take time to live daily regardless of what is going on around us. Taking time to live has a positive impact on your well-being physically, functionally and mentally.
Today I would like to share four tips to help you LIVE daily.
Take time to become still and in tune with God and self.
Trust the process of life! The different seasons we experience in life are not by mistake; they prepare us for life.
Write down one word that exemplify life for you. Look at it daily to remind yourself that you made it this far.
For example: hardship (strength)
Worry Less! Worrying brings the darkness of life to surface blocking the sunlight that should be shined upon you☺
“Abundant living brings a priceless joy, hope and peace to one’s heart”
